How to Reach Meghalaya

Air

Shillong Airport, Shella Airport and Baljek Airport are the 3 major airports of Meghalaya that connect the state with the major cities of India. 

Train

Meghalaya does not have any direct rail routes so you cannot travel to Meghalaya by train. However, you can land on the nearest Guwahati railway station which is located at a distance of 100 km from the capital city of Shillong.

Road

The state can be easily travelled through various cities of India. Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) offers transport service that connects several cities of Meghalaya with neighbouring states.
